Alfiya was pretty much born an athlete and can’t live without moving. She has been in sports for over 25 years, starting with ballet school at the age of 6, gymnastics, swimming, speed skating, track and field, volleyball, and played for the Kazakhstan Womens national rugby team for over 10 years. She is an avid snowboarder, beach volleyballer and yoga teacher. For her dedication, support and contribution to sports development, Alfiya has received an International Masters of Sports from the Ministry of sports of the republic of Kazakhstan.
